FAQ: How do I sort documents in a list?
You can change the order in which documents or records are displayed in Zudello's List, Board, and Table views.
Methods:
-
Table View - Column Sorting:
- This is often the most intuitive method.
- Simply click on the header of the column you want to sort by (e.g., click the "Date Issued" header).
- The first click usually sorts in ascending order (A-Z, oldest to newest, smallest to largest). An arrow icon (▲) often appears.
- Click the same header again to sort in descending order (Z-A, newest to oldest, largest to smallest). The arrow icon usually flips (▼).
- Clicking a third time might remove sorting for that column or cycle back to ascending.

-
Change Sorting Option (List/Board/Table View):
- Look for a Change Sorting icon or dropdown menu, often located near the top right of the view, sometimes near the layout or filter icons.
- (Example: Change Sorting option - image temporarily unavailable)
- Click this option.
- Select the Field you want to sort by from the list (e.g.,
Date Issued
,Total
,Supplier Name
). - Choose the Direction (Ascending or Descending).
- Click Apply or similar confirmation.
Key Points:
- Available sort fields depend on the specific module/submodule and view.
- Sorting preferences are usually remembered per user for each view.
- Sorting works in conjunction with any applied filters.
