Quick Start: Using the Chat Function

Collaborate with your team directly on specific documents using Zudello's built-in chat.

Steps:

  1. Open Document & Chat:
    • Open the document you want to discuss.
    • Click the Chat icon (speech bubble) in the side action panel (far right).
  2. Send a Message:
    • Type your question or comment in the text box at the bottom.
    • Click Send.
  3. Mention a User:
    • To notify someone, type @ and start typing their name, then select them from the list. Or, click the @ button.
    • Finish your message and click Send. They'll get an email notification (if enabled).
  4. Attach a File:
    • Click the Attach icon (paperclip).
    • Select a file from your computer.
    • Add an optional message and click Send.

What Happens Next?

Your conversation is stored within the document's chat history, providing context for anyone reviewing it later.
