Quick Start: Using the Chat Function
Collaborate with your team directly on specific documents using Zudello's built-in chat.
Steps:
- Open Document & Chat:
- Open the document you want to discuss.
- Click the Chat icon (speech bubble) in the side action panel (far right).
- Send a Message:
- Type your question or comment in the text box at the bottom.
- Click Send.
- Mention a User:
- To notify someone, type
@
and start typing their name, then select them from the list. Or, click the @ button. - Finish your message and click Send. They'll get an email notification (if enabled).
- To notify someone, type
- Attach a File:
- Click the Attach icon (paperclip).
- Select a file from your computer.
- Add an optional message and click Send.
What Happens Next?
Your conversation is stored within the document's chat history, providing context for anyone reviewing it later.
