Quick Start: Approving or Rejecting a Document

If you are an approver, you'll need to review and action documents assigned to you.

Steps:

  1. Find Pending Approvals:
    • Navigate to the relevant module (e.g., Purchasing, Expenses and Travel).
    • Click the Requests submodule in the left sidebar. This shows documents awaiting your action.
    • Alternatively, click the link in the approval notification email you received.
  2. Open Document: Click on the document row/card to open it.
  3. Review Details: Carefully check the document's header, lines, coding, and any attached files or chat messages.
  4. Take Action:
    • To Approve: Click the Approve button (top right).
    • To Reject: Click the Reject button. Enter a clear reason for rejection in the pop-up window and click Confirm.

What Happens Next?

  • Approved: The document moves to the next approval step or its final status (e.g., Completed).
  • Rejected: The document usually moves back to a review status (e.g., Reject Review) for the submitter to correct.
