FAQ: What do the different matching icons mean?

Zudello uses icons in the invoice processing screen (specifically on invoice lines and within the matching modal) to give you a quick visual summary of the matching status against Purchase Orders (POs) and Goods Receipts (GRs).

Here's a guide to the common icons:

IconNameMeaning
Fully Matched (Quantity)The quantity on this invoice line fully matches the allocated quantity from the corresponding PO/GR line(s). Remaining quantity is zero.
Partially Matched (Quantity)The quantity on this invoice line is allocated, but quantity still remains on the PO/GR line. The number shows the remaining PO/GR quantity.
Not Matched (Quantity)This invoice line has not been allocated to any PO/GR line based on quantity.
Price MatchThe invoice line unit price exactly matches the allocated PO line unit price.
Price Variance (Invoice Higher)The invoice line unit price is higher than the allocated PO line unit price.
Price Variance (Invoice Lower)The invoice line unit price is lower than the allocated PO line unit price.
Multiple Matches / Complex StatusThis line involves multiple allocations or statuses. Expand the line details to see the breakdown.
(No Icon)Not Applicable / Amount MatchingMatching might be amount-based, or icons aren't relevant for this line type (e.g., some landed costs).

Interpreting:

  • Green Icons: Usually indicate a good, complete match requiring minimal review.
  • Yellow/Orange Icons: Indicate partial matches or price variances that require attention and potentially specific approval based on your rules.
  • Red/Grey Icons: Indicate lines that are not matched and likely require manual allocation or investigation.

Refer to the Review Matching Icons guide for more context and examples.
