New and improved

PDF template management

Zudello can generate PDF documents for purchase orders and sales invoices using customisable templates. You can now manage these PDF templates yourself, giving you full control over how your system-generated documents look.

  • Upload templates
    • Upload a Word document to create a new PDF template
    • Assign the template to a specific module and submodule
    • Select whether the template applies to all teams in your organisation, or a specific team

  • Manage existing templates
    • View a list of all PDF templates configured for your team, including the template details and the users who created or last modified each template

  • Preview before deploying
    • Preview a template using real content from your submodule before making it live
    • See which placeholders are available for your template
    • Download the preview to review it in full

  • Edit and remove templates
    • Download the source Word document for a template to make edits
    • Soft-delete templates you no longer need, with a confirmation step to prevent accidental removal

Expanded file format support

We've expanded the range of file types you can upload directly into Zudello. Following the Excel file extraction introduced in Release 3.6.11, we've now added the same capability for additional formats:

  • Direct CSV processing
    • Upload CSV files directly into submodules and Document Studio
    • Preview CSV content before processing
  • Legacy Excel support
    • Both modern (.xlsx) and legacy (.xls) Excel files are now supported
    • Preview Excel content before processing

Interface improvements

We've made several enhancements to improve navigation speed and clarity across the system:

  • Faster team switching
    • When you open the organisation and team menu, your cursor now automatically moves to the search bar so you can immediately start typing to find the team you want
    • You can also use the arrow keys to move through the list and press Enter to select

  • Clearer template language
    • Updated language and fixed display issues for template placeholders throughout the system

Resolutions

We're constantly working to refine Zudello functionality and ensure that we address any issues as soon as possible. As part of this release, we've made the following resolutions and improvements:

  • We've resolved a memory issue that could affect system stability during extended sessions
  • We've fixed an issue where automations failed when processing large delegation of authority datasets
  • We've resolved an issue where some delegation of authority approval limits were being miscalculated when tax was included in the limit
