Step 4: Submit Claim for Approval

Once all relevant expenses are added to the claim, submit it for review and reimbursement.

Steps:

  1. Open the Claim: Navigate to Expenses and Travel > Claims. Find the claim you prepared (it should be in Draft status) and click/tap to open it.
  2. Review Claim Details:
    • Check the claim header information (Description, Employee, Totals).
    • Review the list of included expenses at the bottom. Ensure all intended expenses are present and no unintended ones are included.
    • (Optional) Add any final notes or attachments to the claim itself if needed.
  3. Submit: Click/Tap Save and Submit.

What Happens Next?

  • The claim status changes from Draft to Approval (or a similar initial approval status defined by your company).
  • The claim is routed to your designated approver (usually your manager).
  • You can track the claim's progress through different statuses in the Claims submodule.
