Step 4: Review Import Results
After running the import, check its status and verify that the updates were applied correctly.
Steps:
- Monitor Status: Stay on the Imports page in Settings. Your import job will appear in the list with a status:
- Queued: Waiting to be processed.
- Processing: Actively updating records.
- Successful: All rows processed without errors.
- Failed: An error occurred, and no records were updated (or only partial updates occurred, depending on settings).
- Click the Refresh icon periodically.
- Review Failed Imports:
- If the status is Failed, click the information icon next to the status.
- Review the error message(s). Common errors include invalid UUIDs, incorrect data formats, or attempting to update read-only fields.
- Correct the issues in your CSV file and re-upload (Step 2).
- Verify Successful Updates:
- If the status is Successful, spot-check a few of the updated records in Zudello.
- Navigate to the relevant submodule (e.g., Relationships > Suppliers).
- Open a record whose UUID was in your file.
- Confirm that the fields you intended to update now show the new values from your CSV.
- Delete Import Job (Optional): Once verified, you can click the delete icon next to the import job in the list to keep it tidy. This does not undo the updates.
