Step 3: Map Fields and Run Import

Tell Zudello how the columns in your CSV file correspond to the fields in Zudello, then start the update process.

Steps:

  1. Review Mapping: Zudello displays the columns from your CSV file on the left and attempts to automatically map them to Zudello fields on the right based on header names.
  2. Verify UUID Mapping: Critically ensure that the UUID column from your CSV is correctly mapped to the UUID field in Zudello. This is essential for updating existing records.
  3. Map Other Fields: Verify that the columns containing your new data values are correctly mapped to the corresponding Zudello fields you intend to update (e.g., CSV column Default Account Code maps to Zudello field Default Account Code).
    • If a mapping is incorrect or missing, click the drop-down next to the Zudello field name and select the correct field.
    • You do not need to map columns from your CSV that are not being updated.
  4. Confirm Mapping: Review all mappings carefully.
  5. Run Import: Click Continue (or Run Import / Start) to begin the update process.

What Happens Next?

Zudello queues the import job. It will process each row in your CSV, find the record matching the provided UUID, and update the specified fields with the new values from your file.

Next Step: Review Import Results
