Step 2: Review Document Details
Before approving or rejecting, it's crucial to thoroughly review the document to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Steps:
- Open the Document:
- If using the Requests submodule, click on the document row to open it.
- If using email, click the link within the email to open the document directly in Zudello.
- Review Header Information: Check key details like Supplier/Employee name, Document Number, Dates, Currency, and Total Amount.
- Review Line Items: Examine the individual lines for accuracy – descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and line totals.
- Check Coding: Verify that appropriate account codes, tax rates, and dimensions (Department, Location, etc.) have been applied according to company policy.
- Verify Matching (if applicable): For invoices matched to POs/GRs, check the matching status icons and ensure quantities/prices align.
- Review Approval Flow: Look at the approval flow section at the top left to understand previous steps and who else might need to approve.
- Check Attachments/Chat (Optional): Review any related documents/attachments or messages in the Chat tab for additional context.

After a thorough review, you are ready to make an informed decision to approve or reject the document.
