FAQ: How do I upload an expense receipt?
Zudello offers several convenient ways to upload your expense receipts:

Mobile Web App:
- Method: Access Zudello via your phone's web browser (app.zudello.io) or the home screen shortcut (Setting up the Zudello Mobile App). Navigate to Expenses > Expenses and use the upload/camera icon.
- Action: You can either take a photo of the receipt directly using your phone's camera or upload an existing image/PDF file from your phone's storage.
- Best For: Capturing receipts immediately "on the go".

Email Forwarding:
- Method: Each Zudello team has a unique inbox email address (e.g.,
yourteam@in.zudello.com
). Forward emails containing receipts (e.g., online purchase confirmations, emailed invoices) or emails with receipt images/PDFs attached to this address. - Action: Zudello monitors the inbox, extracts attachments (PDF, JPG, PNG etc.), and creates expense documents automatically. It often links the expense to your employee record based on your sending email address.
- Best For: Processing digital receipts received via email, forwarding receipts from your personal email. Find your team address in Settings > Mailboxes.
- Method: Each Zudello team has a unique inbox email address (e.g.,

Web Application (Desktop):
- Method: Log in to Zudello on your computer. Navigate to Expenses > Expenses.
- Action: Either drag-and-drop receipt files (PDF, JPG, PNG etc.) directly onto the screen or click the New Expense button and choose Upload.
- Best For: Uploading receipts saved on your computer, processing multiple receipts at once.
Once uploaded, the receipt will appear in the Expenses > Expenses submodule, usually with a Scanning status while Zudello extracts the data.
