Tutorial: Merge Separate Documents

Goal: Combine multiple uploaded files that belong to the same logical document (e.g., pages of an invoice sent as separate attachments) into one single Zudello record.

Persona: Maria Garcia (New General User) or Anya Sharma (AP Clerk)

Sometimes suppliers might send different pages of the same invoice or document as separate files. To process these correctly as a single transaction in Zudello, you need to merge these separate files into one document record. Zudello's "Merge" function allows you to select multiple existing records and combine their underlying files.

This guide covers identifying the documents to merge and using the Merge action to combine them.

Steps:

  1. Select Documents and Initiate Merge
  2. Confirm Merge Action
