Tutorial: Duplicate a Document

Goal: Quickly create a new document based on an existing one by making an exact copy.

Persona: Maria Garcia (New General User) or David Chen (Purchasing Officer)

Sometimes you need to create a new document that is very similar to one you've already processed. Instead of starting from scratch, Zudello's "Duplicate" function lets you create an identical copy of an existing document, which you can then modify as needed. This is useful for recurring orders, creating templates, or correcting a minor error on a document that has already progressed too far in its workflow to be easily edited.

This guide shows you how to find the document you want to copy and use the Duplicate action.

Steps:

  1. Find Document and Initiate Duplicate
  2. Review the New Duplicate Document

Let's start by finding the document to duplicate.
