Step 3: Run Export and Download File
Execute the saved template to generate the data file based on your defined fields and filters.
Steps:
- Find Template: In the Exports settings page, locate your saved template under the Templates list.
- Run Export: Click the Run icon (play symbol) next to your template name.
- Confirm Filters (Optional): A pop-up may appear allowing you to temporarily adjust the filters for this specific run without changing the saved template. Make adjustments if needed, or leave as is.
- Start Export: Click Start.
- Monitor Status:
- You'll see an "Export queued" message.
- The export will appear in the Ready exports section with a status (e.g.,
Queued
,Processing
,Completed
,Failed
). - Click the Refresh icon periodically to update the status.
- Download File:
- Once the status shows
Completed
, click the Download icon (cloud with down arrow) next to the export entry. - Your browser will download the CSV file containing the requested data.
- Once the status shows
- Delete Export Job (Optional): To keep the "Ready exports" list clean, you can click the Delete export icon (trash can) after downloading the file. This removes the generated file but keeps the template.
