Step 1: Create an Export Template

Export templates define reusable settings for extracting specific data. Start by creating a template for the data you need.

Steps:

  1. Navigate to Exports:
    • Click the company menu (top right) > Settings.
    • Click Exports in the left sidebar.
  2. Build New Template: Click Build export template.
  3. Name Template: Enter a clear, descriptive Template Name (e.g., "Approved AP Invoices - Last Month", "Active Supplier List").
  4. Select Module & Submodule:
    • Choose the primary Module containing the data you want to export (e.g., Purchasing, Relationships, Dimensions).
    • Choose the specific Submodule (e.g., Invoices, Suppliers, Accounts).
    • Note: You can only export data from one submodule per template.

What Happens Next?

The basic template is created. Now you need to specify exactly which data fields and filters to include.
