Step 2: Define Page Ranges and Confirm Split

Tell Zudello which pages belong to each separate document you want to create.

Steps:

  1. Define First Document:
    • In the "Document 1" section, enter the starting page number in the From page field (usually 1).
    • Enter the ending page number for the first document in the To page field.
  2. Define Second Document:
    • Click Add Document. A "Document 2" section appears.
    • Enter the starting page number for the second document in the From page field (usually the page number immediately following the previous document's end page).
    • Enter the ending page number for the second document in the To page field.
  3. Repeat for Additional Documents: Click Add Document and define the page ranges for each subsequent document contained within the original file.
    • Important: Ensure all pages from the original file are included in one of the sections, and that page ranges do not overlap.
  4. Confirm Split: Once all page ranges are defined correctly, click the Split button.

What Happens Next?

  • Zudello deletes the original combined document record.
  • It creates new, separate document records for each page range you defined.
  • These new documents will appear in the submodule list, typically entering the Scanning status for individual data extraction.

End of Tutorial

You have successfully split a multi-page file into separate documents! You can now process each document individually.
