Step 2: Define Page Ranges and Confirm Split
Tell Zudello which pages belong to each separate document you want to create.
Steps:
- Define First Document:
- In the "Document 1" section, enter the starting page number in the From page field (usually
1
). - Enter the ending page number for the first document in the To page field.
- In the "Document 1" section, enter the starting page number in the From page field (usually
- Define Second Document:
- Click Add Document. A "Document 2" section appears.
- Enter the starting page number for the second document in the From page field (usually the page number immediately following the previous document's end page).
- Enter the ending page number for the second document in the To page field.
- Repeat for Additional Documents: Click Add Document and define the page ranges for each subsequent document contained within the original file.
- Important: Ensure all pages from the original file are included in one of the sections, and that page ranges do not overlap.
- Confirm Split: Once all page ranges are defined correctly, click the Split button.
What Happens Next?
- Zudello deletes the original combined document record.
- It creates new, separate document records for each page range you defined.
- These new documents will appear in the submodule list, typically entering the Scanning status for individual data extraction.
