Step 3: Map Fields and Run Import

Tell Zudello how the columns in your CSV file correspond to the fields for the new records you are creating, then start the import.

Steps:

  1. Review Auto-Mapping: Zudello displays the columns from your CSV file on the left and attempts to automatically map them to Zudello fields on the right based on matching header names.
  2. Verify/Correct Mappings:
    • Carefully review each mapping. Ensure every column in your CSV that contains data you want to import is correctly mapped to the intended Zudello field.
    • If a mapping is incorrect or missing, click the drop-down menu next to the Zudello field name and select the correct field from the list.
    • You do not need to map every column if some columns in your CSV are just for reference and don't need to be imported.
  3. Confirm Mapping: Double-check all mappings are accurate.
  4. Run Import: Click Continue (or Run Import / Start) to begin the import process.

What Happens Next?

Zudello queues the import job. It will process each row in your CSV, validate the data, and attempt to create a new record in the selected submodule using the mapped data.

Next Step: Review Import Results
