Step 3: Add Line Items & Coding
Now, specify the goods or services you need to purchase by adding line items to the requisition.
Steps:
- Navigate to Items Section: Scroll down to the Items grid.
- Add Item/Service:
- Double-click in the Stock Code field of the first empty line.
- Search for the item by SKU or description and select it from the list.
- Alternatively, if it's a non-catalogued item or service, manually type a clear Description.
- Enter Quantity & Price:
- Fill in the required Quantity.
- Enter or verify the Unit Price. The line total calculates automatically.
- Complete Line Coding:
- Fill in any required coding fields for the line item (e.g., Account Code, Department, Tax Rate).
- Double-click in each required field and select the appropriate value from the drop-down list. Default coding rules might pre-fill some of these.
- Add More Lines: Repeat steps 2-4 for each additional item or service needed on this requisition.

All requested items and their coding are added. The final step is to review the totals and submit the requisition.
