Step 2: Upload Receipt via Mobile App

Capture your receipt or upload an existing file directly through the mobile app interface.

Steps:

  1. Open Zudello App: Tap the Zudello icon on your home screen. Log in if prompted.
  2. Navigate to Expenses: Ensure you are in the Expenses and Travel > Expenses submodule.
  3. Start Upload: Tap the + icon (usually bottom right or top right).
  4. Choose Upload Method: Tap Click here to upload and select an option:
    • Take Photo: Opens your camera to take a new picture of the receipt. Ensure good lighting and capture the entire receipt clearly.
    • Photo Library: Allows you to select an existing photo from your phone's gallery.
    • Choose Files: Lets you select a saved file (like a PDF invoice) from your phone's storage.
  5. Confirm Upload: After taking the photo or selecting the file, confirm the upload. You can add multiple files if needed.
  6. Close Upload Window: Once all files for this expense are added, tap Close.

What Happens Next?

Zudello uploads the receipt/file and creates a new expense record. The expense enters Scanning status while data is extracted, then moves to Ready or User Review.
